AVP film – REPTILES IN KENYA.

Augustijn Video Productions (AVP) released a special nature film.

The English spoken wildlife documentary “REPTILES IN KENYA”.

Kenya has much more to offer than the BIG FIVE. Most animals, however, remain hidden, but you can be sure there are many eyes watching you.

To see REPTILES in the wild is a different story. The team of Augustijn Video Productions (AVP) found them and captured the most deadly snakes and bitty crocodiles on film in “REPTILES IN KENYA”.

In the Kenyan wilderness, everything will prick, stab or bite you.

Of course, the film also pays attention to the many bird species, ungulates and elephants.

Even in the dark the hidden life of the animals was captured.

Reptiles are everywhere.

In and around the water lives the 2 meter long “MONITOR LIZARD“, which seems to have just escaped from Jurassic Park. It is Kenya’s biggest lizard species, but also they rarely show themselves.

Just rare as a crocodile being attacked by an emerging lioness.

Yet our cameraman dared to walk down on 2 seemingly sleeping CROCODILES. What happens then is shown in the film.

The most spectacular event is when huge Nile crocodiles make their spectacular “DEATH ROLLS“. AVP was able to capture that up close.

Of course the film shows SNAKES. In Kenya are 127 types of snakes. Then why do we not see them?
Mainly because they do not want to be seen. A good guide will see them….

For lovers of these smooth reptiles Kenya certainly offers plenty of opportunity for encounters.

Got scared of all those fearsome creatures? Well, no. They usually clear off long before you even get close.
Let alone you ever see them.

Again we were privileged to use the great voice of BILL MACKIE. Bill already lent his voice for our films “EXPLORE TANZANIA”, “FOSTER PARENTS”, “WIVA-her first day”. With his North American accent, voice actor William (Bill) Mackie is the professional voice ”par excellence” that provides additional value to the film “REPTILES IN KENYA”. Like only a born English voice actor can.

TRAILER – REPTILES IN KENYA” can be seen on Youtube, Facebook and on our bilingual website.

And snakes? You never see them in Kenya!
