Every year in September, it is time for the red deer to think about offspring.

 

The males, hitherto living together peacefully, change into ferocious rivals, trying to conquer as many as possible hinds.

 

The activities of the rut is captured in an exciting movie by Augustijn Video Productions (AVP).
